The Badalona Mediation Service wants to collect the role of the residents of the Salut neighborhood in the territory, to pay tribute to all the people who have built and transformed it over the years from a photographic exhibition that marks the before and after. From here I propose a participatory proposal to collect a photographic archive of the neighborhood and the voices of the people who live there. Crisàlide comunicación makes the sound recording and together with the mediation service we make a selection of the most relevant historical points to choose a series of photographs that represent them. Images that I reproduce today, placing myself at an approximate point, with the aim of seeing the changes that they have experienced over the years.
Based on this visual and sound memory, the stories of the people of the territory, the aim is to highlight the citizen’s work in building a place where several generations have grown, learned and supported each other. A proposal to remember that historical memory, beyond books, is found in people.
