Participatory photographic creation within the framework of Nilak – Circ Teatre Itinerant, with the women’s association of Vilalba dels Arcs. With the aim of recovering the popular stories that form the territories, we opened a space to explore memory. Based on photographic encounters, we generated a dialogue with different people from Vilalba to learn about different stories. The image was an artifact to stimulate the imagination, the senses, play with symbolic thinking and construct visual narratives that we related to folk proverbs. As a result of the experience, an itinerary through the town was created with large-format images, as a cultural legacy of collective memory.
