With the Construím Mirades collective

Experiential photography workshop for young people at the Espai jove Joan Amades in Manresa.

Guided by photographer Oriol Segon, during the workshop the young people learned various photographic techniques and styles, and got to know references from the history of photography. Through experiential dynamics they explored and expressed themselves through photography. Learning to portray people on the street and create their own self-portrait, to construct abstract photographs of the environment, to find ‘decisive moments’ (spontaneous moments that happen in everyday life), the young people reflected on themselves and on the reality of which they are a part. In this way, developing a critical view of the world. In order to culminate the project and show their work in the city, we created three large-format ephemeral photographic installations on various walls in Manresa.
